Description: Masraff's on Post Oak Blvd is a casually elegant upscale restaurant owned and operated by Houston restaurateurs, Tony and Russell Masraff. The restaurant has quickly become a local favorite with it's unique American cuisine and contemporary ambiance. Best described as American cuisine with a touch of Southern Europe, the seafood, fowl, homemade pastas, lamb, beef and seasonal game will satisfy the most discriminating diner. Soon after opening, Masraff's received stellar early reviews, including the prestigious three-star rating from the Houston Chronicle Dining Guide, as well as being named among the ten new restaurants on the culinary cutting edge in the US by The Wall Street Journal. For a delightful culinary experience, dine at the Chef's Table, where the Chef prepares a gourmet six -course dinner of his choosing. The Restaurant, which has recently moved to 1753 Post Oak Blvd from its former location at 1025 S.Post Oak Lane, seats over 200 for lunch and dinner.

Everything is excellent, but the rosoto & bison steak are not to be missed. Service is impeccable and the atmosphere is top notch. Can't be beat!!

We went with friends to Masraff's recently. It was our first visit. The space has a contemporary, but with an upscale feel. We were greeted warmly and seated promptly; however, I recommend making a reservation. Masraff's has an extensive wine list and a sommelier to aid in making a nice wine selection. After drinks were ordered, we got down to the business at hand. I started with the calamari steak appetizer, which was one of the very best starters I have ever eaten. It was absolutely wonderful! I chose the duo of diver's scallops and tuna for the entree. Both were served with a tasty risotto and sauces to complement both the tuna and scallops. The risotto was creamy, but probably a bit westernized because it was not al dente. However, I am being very picky. The scallops were prepared perfectly and the tuna simply melted in my mouth. I chose the peach creme brûlée for the dessert course. The dish consists of peach halves filled with a creamy and delicious brûlée, with a nice carmelized crust. The dish was prepared with simple ingredients, but the result was refreshing, as well as satisfying.

The service at Masraff's is top notch. The servers were attentive, yet not bothersome. The we're helpful in making selections from the menu, made us feel comfortable and they genuinely did a wonderful job. The sommelier returned to the table to make sure we were pleased with the wine. All the attention made our party believe the staff was pleased we were there.

The quality of the food, from the preparation to the presentation was outstanding. It was one of the best meals I have enjoyed in Houston. I will be back!

Located a half-mile from The Galleria, this restaurant has some of the best food in the city, along with an outstanding wine list.

One appetizer not to be missed is the calamari steak--this is not your typical fried calamari, but is one of the best dishes you'll ever taste. Every dish they prepare is done to perfection, whether it be fish, fowl or meat. Plating is beautiful, and the restaurant still maintains a somewhat casual attitude. If they have a weak point, it's the somewhat limited dessert menu, but you won't go away disappointed.

Since they moved from Post Oak Lane to Post Oak, their menu has gotten much more varied and the quality and diversity of the items is top notch. Good for friends and foodies. Great dinning experience and great value for your dollar.
