“One of the better places in Houston”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 31, 2012

Paulies is a casual lunch/dinner cafe-like relaxed place. The food is definitely more 'real' tasting than most of the places I have eaten in Houston. Paulies has different portion sizes to choose from which is great and the selection of flavoured waters are brilliant (my particular favourite is the lemon and ginger). I had the pesto pasta pesto the other day which was very over salted. I do find that the pastas have a slightly artificially-produced like taste (i think they maybe could use more fresh ingredients) but as I say this is definitely one of the better healthier options in Houston. The staff are friendly and helpfull.

“Decent lunch place but a little casual for dinner.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 25, 2012

Bf and I have been in search for a good Italian place in Houston for a long time. Tried out Paulies and it was pretty good. I loved the gazpacho! Delicious!!! My chicken parm was standard fare but the bf left hungry. Had to go find a snack later.

“Our favorite place to have lunch or dinner”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 23, 2012

Found this place by accident and make it a point to visit every time we are near Houston. Cucumber water, fantastic dishes, and eclectic atmosphere are enchanting. Love it for dinner or lunch. Sadly, they are closed Sundays. 1834 Westheimer road Houston TX 77098

“Fantastic food at a great price.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 31, 2011

I've been back to Paulie's twice now, when staying in Houston. The menu is quite extensive and has something for everyone. The food is outstanding and is very reasonable. There are many great little touches, like the cucumber chilled water that is complimentary and the ginger peach tea is superb. I had the chicken scallopine and the lemon sauce was perfection. They also have a great little bakery section with good desserts. You order at the counter and then take a seat. It's no frills with amazing food that won't empty your wallet. I love this place.
