Prego is one of those restaurants that is consistently very, very good. It has a neighborhood feel, but a sophisticated menu and solid wine list. My husband and I popped in last night for a late dinner. Although we don't dine here often enough, when we do, we like to sit at the bar where the Bartender, Kathy, is absolutely terrific! My husband ordered the special which was a pan seared soft shell crab with a side of ravioli and asparagus. He loves soft shell crab and orders it frequently at restaurants....he declared last night that his meal may have been the best soft shell crab he has ever had...and, i have to agree based on the one bite i was able to snare from his plate. I had the old standard, Prego Ravioli....it is always terrific....house made ravioli in a tomato vodka sauce with fresh mushrooms. The freshness of the tomato sauce really stand out with this dish. Just a good, solid restaurant and always a great experience.
