This restaurant sucks, always makes my stomach hurt. They never give you a receipt of what they charge you.. there are other places way better than this.

A gem of South Houston, this place has delicious food. The owner, Bobby, makes it a point to come out and great all of the customers. His personality is warm and funny. We've eaten here a number of times and still consider it one of best Mexican food restaurant in all of Houston. Everything is fresh and tastes like it was made with your particular taste in mind. Order the fajitas and get a fresh lemonade to go. When you are at Casarez you are home (or at least at the home of someone who really knows how to cook).

I have been eating at Casarez for years. It is a neigborhood restaurant that is very popular. My oldest son told me about this restaurant around 14 years when he was playing football at the nearby high school. He and his hungry football friends were on a tight budget and would go there and order the burritos. My husband and I have been eating there ever since. There are tacos, enchiladas, and rice and beans. There are fajitas that come out sizzling in the pan. There are tortas and burritos and quesadillos and so much more. There is lots of variety. The chips and two different salsas are delicious. Casarez serves a great breakfast too. The staff are wonderful and have been working there as long as I can remember. Don't be surprised if Bobby comes out to greet you. He is the owner and he is there much of the time.
