Description: Saint Arnold Brewing Company, located in Houston, is Texas' Oldest Craft Brewery. Our goal is to brew world class beers and deliver them to our customers as fresh as possible making them the best beers in Texas and Louisiana. Our customers are beer lovers - people that appreciate great, full-flavored beers. Our small crew does everything at the brewery: brew the beer, filter the beer, keg the beer, bottle the beer, sell the beer and drink the beer. For us, this is a passion, not a job. We believe that this comes through in the beers we make. Our beers have soul. Our Brewery & Beer Hall is located just north of Downtown Houston at 2000 Lyons Ave. We are open to the public Monday through Saturday. Join us for an afternoon of delicious food, brews, and a tour!

“Good way to spend a Saturday!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 13, 2014

Went on a recent Saturday, and had a blast. We arrived around 1:45, paid $8 to get in and to my surprise this included a souvenir glass and four fill ups of your choice of any beer on tap. My little group had a great time, we took the 2:00 tour and the hung around in the biergarten style room to finish of our beers and chat with each other. I saw many people enjoying lunches that they were apparently encouraged to bring in with them. It would be the perfect place to take any beer lover who happens to visit

“Beer and Food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 1, 2014

The tour is short, but you get a lot more than you think when you go in. Friends and I visited on a Saturday, and they have a limited menu, but the jerk chicken sandwich was tasty, delicious and spicy (I think I could have eaten 2 - LOL). You pay $8 and get 4 beers on tap and delicious food. What more can you ask for?

“Interesting set-up”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 22, 2014

We weren't sure how this place worked until we got there. You have to pay a flat rate for their set lunch option (only 1 option is provided, so if you have dietary concerns, call first. They can't be very flexible) and all you can drink. The food was delicious and the beer was good too. They had a great selection of beers...something for everyone's palate. We were short on time, so we couldn't take advantage of the "all you can drink," but it was still worth checking out. The interior is really neat. It's set up like a big beer hall and you can see employees working at the tanks.

“Best $2 Glass of Beer You'll Ever Drink”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 28, 2013

We had planned to try the daily lunch menu on a visit to St. Arnold's Brewery, but it's never fallen into place. So I'll save my lunch review for another day.
What we were able to do is visit the brewery on a Saturday, to experience the beer and go on the brewery tour.
We didn't realize so many people would be there by the time we arrived, around 12:30. We found parking, but it took a while, and it was a couple blocks away. Both of the designated parking lots were full.
The beer hall/tour waiting area was packed with people. Cost of admission was $8. You're given a small glass and 4 tokens. A token buys a glass of most of the beers. The beer lines moved quickly and the St. Arnold servers were friendly and energetic. All 4 beers I tried were excellent, understandably some of the freshest tastiest beer I've ever had. You can also buy a larger glass, several different options, and they'll fill the glass.
Unknown to us, you can bring in your own food, a lot of people had gone to Frank's pizza, and playing cards, games, folding chairs, whatever. There was also a short snack menu available, french fries, pretzels, bratwurst sandwich.
The tour was more talk than tour but thankfully short, and you can go back to the beer hall after for more beer, all that talk about beer makes you thirsty.

“Not just good beer...Just a good time!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 13, 2013

We went here on a busy Saturday, and it was a great experience. We arrived in time to take the tour, and definitely recommend doing so. It's informative and less than 30 minutes, plus you can take your beer with you while you learn about how it's made. I would recommend going with a group of friends, bringing some food and maybe some playing cards, and making a day drinking afternoon of your trip.

The people who work there are extremely friendly and fun, so make sure to shake a hand or two!

Cheers!
