We've been going to this mom and pop hole in the wall for 30 years. It is consistently good. The strip center eatery is small and simple but the food is authentic Mexican and it is wonderful. The building is old and shows signs of wear. The cook is usually one of the original owners.
My favorites on the menu are the Milanesa and the Enchiladas Verdes. They do an excellent breakfast. The Machacado con Huevo is my favorite there. On the weekends they have Menudo.
This is not haute cuisine. The food is basic and comforting. The prices are rock bottom. They offer an excellent value.
Go for the good food and the ready smiles.
