Wow, this small but fabulous place really blew me away. It was the best boiled crawfish I ever had. The butter garlic sauce is to die for and their hand battered fried shrimp and catfish is excellent as well. I recently moved to Houston and this restaurant is definitely one of my local favorites. It's a little hidden in that it's in a big plaza that has America's Best Value Inn and a Chevron Gas station in front, so you have to look for the stores towards the back of the big parking lot and when you find it you'll be rewarded with always fresh and delicious food. Try the gumbo that is freshly prepared every afternoon....awesome...I can't think of anything that is not done well here. Atmosphere is very family friendly. If you're looking to try something regional Houston/New Orleans...then order the crawfish. I've had crawfish elsewhere like in Bellaire (tourist trap) and this little place beats any of those restaurants hands down.
