Four of us dined here on 9/20/13. Bandol rose wine is served by the glass, something not seen often. Good cocktail service. We dined upstairs where it is quieter than the downstairs dining area. First we shared the spicy shrimp cocktail. We were then off to a most memorable dining experience. We then enjoyed the enchiladas (two kinds), the best ever! Then came the greatest steak ever, the Tapa de Lomo, a special cut of the ribeye. Menu says it can feed six diners. The meat was tender, juicy and flavorful. We ate like we were experiencing something not available anywhere else on the planet. Served with various tasty sauces. We had wines from Portugal, Mexico and Argentina. The Mexican wine from Baja California was my personal favorite. Service was friendly. We had nice conversations with owner and the restaurant manager. The meal was accompanied by live guitar music. Best steakhouse in Houston. We proudly left with our remaining steak in a doggy bag!
