“Busy, popular restaurant, trendy and great food!”

Good all around service, nice ambience and mostly consistent service. Nice flair with food and they use mostly local and organic items. Liked the music.

“Paleo Abundance”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 30, 2013

The corner table is a large and bustling place with several abundantly decorated large rooms, one of them a bar with live music, and also a nice patio at the entrance where one can pleasantly wait for the valeted car to be returned. The menu offers (almost too) abundant choice including a number of so-called Paleo dishes which are prepared only with full natural ingredients. We had a mighty Paleo pizza with an extra duck egg (sourced from Renaissance Chicken west of Houston) and the crust indeed was somewhat paleolithic. Also the chowder and the avocado tower where abundant in size, amount of ingredients deployed and actually tasted great! So did the four scallops, amply covered in herbs and spices, grilled on a slab of cedarwood and very tongue in cheek served in an actual cedarwood Monte Christo cigar box. This was a very imaginative and tasteful dish, the highlight of the evening. One helping of creme brulee provided abundant dessert for two but was not that special in taste - chosen from an enormous dessert tray with perhaps fifty desserts the waiter could all name - the largest we ever saw. Good coconut cookie with a standard American espresso ... Overall an outstanding experience with interesting and ample food. Wine choice quite good as well and reasonably priced. Also a good choice of cocktails. The waiter recommended some good wines for a reasonable price which went really well with the food.

“Interesting Place”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 18, 2013

Well, if you love the L.A. scene then you'd love this place. It's definitely very Cali. The age group is mid 20s to mid 30s. It's also more of a club scene. Loud music, eclectic food. Lots going on in both the patrons & the food. Service was great in the restaurant but not so much in the bar. For those of us who are from So Cal, it's pretty redundant. Large portions though unlike in Cali. Good & bad depending on how hungry you are. All together, we'd probably not go back...

“Great Meal!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 14, 2013 via mobile

Loved the new space and food at corner table. The service was attentive the way it should be at a good restaurant. The food was delicious! Can't wait to go back for dinner on the weekend and have a drink or two in the adjoining spaces.
Beautiful shabby chic interior!

“yummy”

I've been to Corner Table several times over the space of six months. Food and service are excellent. Best French onion soup ever--excellent pastas and salads. Great people watching, although a bit noisy.
