I have only eaten at my pita once or twice, but I have to tell you that the pita is amazing. This aint no cardboard store-bought crap, and it is not the thin Greek-style pita that fails to hold up. This is the beautiful doughy creations that only those who have travelled the the Middle East can really appreciate. Droubi's does a decent job, as does Fadi's, but this is the best in the business. It also freezes easily and reheats in the oven good enough to get my San Francisco foodie friends to re-define what pita can be. There is also a grocery store with a number of hard-to-find Israeli proucts next door, and a fun menu. But even if everything else was horrible - and it is anything but - the pita is reason alone to throw out expectations and ruin all other pita one will have this side of Eden.
