Like walking into "the open kitchen" of the 1970s, this restaurant is the real deal.
50 pound bags of organic tamale flour stacked high with Mexican day of the dead costumes hanging from them. Radical stickering on the posts, cool vibes, great specials, not pretentious. Really good healthy on planet earth for humans!!
Sweet, friendly, thoughtful wait persons willing to pause and chat.
Local foods, veggie or vegan.
Try the fried avocado taco and a black Molly tamale. Great thick homemade tostadas, 2 table top salsas which were really good.
The chocolate chipotle cake was Rick, moist and fascinating!
It's in a funky neighborhood next to the Latino Center and not too hard to find.
Worth the trip!
