“Nice Campus”
Reviewed December 25, 2013

We had a short tour in the campus of Rice University. Since it's close to Christmas there's nobody on campus. We enjoyed the beauty of the architecture and verdure very much.

“Unhelpful attendant in front desk during tour visits”
Reviewed December 17, 2013

The female attendant dealing with visitors to campus was truly unhelpful and even kind of impolite. First impressions count and this african american lady is the first face that parents and students have to confront while visiting campus.

“Beautiful, Inspiring Campus”
Reviewed December 7, 2013

The campus has beautiful buildings, and you have a sense that this place is the Stanford of the South. There's a lot of pride by both the students and the locals; everything is clean, manicured, and naturesque in a way.

“Beautiful Campus!”
Reviewed October 26, 2013

It's hard to believe this campus is in the middle of Houston. There are lots of oak trees throughout the campus and inner loop that provide lots of shady areas to sit and walk under. The school's mascot is Rice Owls and every year there are sightings of baby owls. There is also a 3 mile loop around the outskirts of campus and is used by joggers, walkers, and runners that is mostly tree covered. I can see why students love Rice.

one of the prettiest university campuses in the south, I think. Love the oak trees, and the serenity.
