The chef is Peruvian, so go here if you're looking for a change from Mexican food. Lots of seafood, causas, ceviche (or cebiche as they call it in Peru).
We had 11 people at a large table and shared a variety of foods and Peruvian wines (which will not replace Chilean wines on American menus but which were serviceable for the immersion experience). Service was friendly and eager but not so intuitive.

I lived in Lima, Peru for a few years and have eaten in some of the best restaurants in that city. Latin Bites is better than the restaurants in Lima.

The ceviche was excellent, better than what is served in Peru, with large shrimp that are not available in Lima restaurants. Lomo saltado excellent as well. The aji was very spicy if you like that kind of thing. Service was superb. Prices are moderately high, and there are no giant portions but still enough to eat.

Nice thing is you get to eat good Peruvian food but don't have to be in Lima to do it. The food's pretty good in Lima, but Lima itself is a real dump.

Coworkers recommended this place for lunch. It was worth it. Their lunch isn't cheap, but the shredded chicken dish with rice and potatoes was fantastic.

Granted we were a party of 14, but the service was absolutely terrible. The restaurant was not busy. We waited to get our orders taken, we waited for our food, we waited for our checks. Lunch took over two hours!

The food is tasty but the explanations on the menu and by the waiter were not very clear. My Cebiche Pescador was beautifully presented and very good. My friend had ravioli and said it was rich and delicious.

Not sure I would return.

Presentation was beautiful and the food was very nice. If you've been to Peru, don't expect the same exact food. There aren't varieties of potatoes and dishes are not quite the same.

My favorite appetizer was the, Tiradito Tres Sabores - sliced white fish with three different leches surrounded by sweet potato purée, green onions, choclo and olive oil. Our entree was, The Lomo Saltado - beef tenderloin with onions, tomatoes, red wine, soy sauce, red wine vinegar, garlic, home fries and rice. All was very tasty and the Pisco Sours were terrific too.
