I was delighted to introduce a friend to this restaurant when she was here on business. Very relaxed, lovely, lovely unusual food and the pisco sour cocktail has become a thing of legend in our family! Latin Bites never disappoints and the service is friendly and happy with genuine enthusiasm about their food.

After a long day of shopping, I had a (very) late solo lunch here and really enjoyed it! The service was attentive and appropriate. The setting is very attractive. The food was excellent. I had a ceviche (which was very good), the lettuce wraps with quinoa salad, and a traditional Peruvian soft drink. Next time I'm in Houston, I'll be sure to have a meal at Latin Bites.

This is an elegant, well appointed restaurant in an upscale shopping strip on the west side of town offering valet parking. The service is attentive, friendly and efficient but perhaps it was that at a recent visit because the place was not at all crowded.

The food is highly unusual offering "Tiradito (Peruvian Sashimi)", all kinds of Cebiche (Ceviche) and a variety of different hot plates. Peruvians claim that ceviche was invented in their country.

The food is very tasty and artfully presented on large rectangular plates. there are such items as "Leche de Tigre" (tiger's milk, which is a strange name given that there no tigers in Peru). Ingredients include Peruvian corn, quinoa and "Aji Amarillo" (Peruvian yellow chile pepper), which give the food its distinctive taste. It is difficult to single out a particularly delectable dish. The portions are unusually small, thus one may order and experience more than one dish.

We had been wanting to visit this restaurant for almost a year, but it is difficult to get reservations for weekend nights. We finally went on a week night and we were not disappointed.
Wait staff were very helpful, offering suggestions and explanations for all of the dishes.
We were quite amazed at how knowledgeable our waitress was.
For cocktails, try their Piscos- excellent and the Cava (brut) they serve is good, too.
The ceviche was out of this world- get the "Mercado" ceviche, you will not be disappointed. Very fresh fish with octopus & crispy fried calamari swimming in a light & spicy sauce. Yes- the calamari were still crispy. The dish is enough for 2 as an appetizer, but quite honestly- I would eat the whole thing myself (if given the chance). some of the restaurant's food is a blend of Peruvian & asian cooking, but it is all fantastic. Unfortunately, we were too full for dessert, so I cannot speak to that. Lovely decor and no overwhelmingly loud music, so the atmosphere was great. They also have a patio for dining/drinking.

After visiting Peru (and loving the food) last year, we thought we'd give Latin Bites a try. We were not disappointed. Specialties in Peru include ceviche, lomo saltado, and pisco sours, so we wanted to see what Latin Bites had to offer. All were wonderful! For dessert we tried the picarones (basically little donuts) and alfajores (cookies); both were excellent - as good as we had in Peru. Overall a good experience. The location is not easily accessible, and the valet parking in the strip center is a little odd... but it's well worth the trip, and a lot closer than Peru!
