“It's ok, my kid was too young for the full experience.”
Reviewed July 8, 2013 via mobile

My child was too young for the whole experience. She got bored easily in the toddlers room, but loved the outside water exhibit.
I think at a young age the value for money is not great. We are going to try again when she is older and can explore the whole museum.
A big plus is the cafe, although fast food it had some great options and the price was no more than regular fast food restaurants.

“Great for curious children”
Reviewed July 6, 2013

This is a perfect place for all kids with an interest in how things work. There are different types of activities for children of different ages and temperaments.

Our 5-year old is a little scientist and he just loved the place. Our 1-year old enjoyed the separate toddler area.

“Crowded but ok, the staff I feel do not help the kids enough.”
Reviewed July 2, 2013

I feel like the staff should help the kids more, like the ATM in the Kidtropolous. It was like no supervision and kids were trying to do things themselves and a lot were walking around like they were lost. I would not go back here. My kids said it was boring and they are 9 and 11

“Basic Kids' Museum”
Reviewed July 1, 2013

We went on a Saturday morning. We were there when it opened. Plenty of stuff for the kids to see and interact with. The favorite part was the laboratory downstairs. They got to make paper airplanes, parachutes and cars. It got more crowded the longer we stayed.
We bought the Houston City Pass--worth it if you are going to several Houston attractions.

“Awesome for Young Children”
Reviewed July 1, 2013

Haven't tried the water area. Great educational and fun experience for children. My daughter had a great time even as a pre-teen. Very loud and crazy...pack your patience.
