There's nothing like an Insalata Lucia and Involtini for a light lunch or dinner, but there are a wealth of choices. Narrowing it down is the trick. Great affordable wines. This is the neighborhood gem your friends take you to. Fresh and local ingredients, fun atmosphere and a nice outdoor patio, weather permitting. Yum. We love it for an easy and delicious dinner. Good food without the stuffy atmosphere.

This is one of my favorite places to eat. The food is excellent and some entrees offer the option of order only half an order which is a big plus for people watching their portions. They have a wide variety of breads which are all good. In fact the variety of offerings is one of the best attributes of this restaurant.

My husband and I went to Giacomo's this past weekend for the first time. We only recently found out that it was owned by the former owner of La Mora, Lynette Hawkins, which we absolutely loved. We found this restaurant to be great on many levels. The decor was fun and sort of "Italian countryside"; great colors and also offers outdoor seating. We sat indoors as it was bit humid for us, but indoors was great too. A waiter from her old restaurant, La Mora, who now works at Giacomo's recognized us and even remembered our last name from a number of years ago!! We were floored! Also, the owner came to our table to explain some of the dishes. After my husband told her he remembered the delicious tomato spread from her previous restaurant, she brought some to the table with toasted bread. It was as tasty as we remembered. We ordered several of the Italian tapas, cichette, I think they're called, and they were delicious. Also ordered a shrimp main entree that is supposed to come with pasta, but we left the pasta out (trying to watch the carbs!) along with some side veggies and they were also delicious. Their wine list is different as it offers many selections that one doesn't typically see. Also, I like the fact that they serve 3 ounce as well as 6 ounce glasses as I am a lightweight in the alcohol department! All in all, it was a very pleasant experience, and we will definitely go back and take friends next time!

I've eaten here a few times recently, all of which were very memorable. Delicious food and a great wine selection, in a fun, non pretentious atmosphere.

Gicomo's used to be among our favorite places to go. We returned tonight after a couple of months absence and are sorry to report the sharp downward turn Giacomo's has taken.

Perhaps management is a victim of its own success. Woefully understaffed, service has fallen from excellent to perfunctory at best.

Moreover, Giacomo's appears to have changed its target clientele from loyal regulars to larger groups with the consequent destruction of its previous cozy ambiance and increase in noise to a point of making conversation impossible.

Very sad.
