A decent price for a room that is walking distance to Mays Clinic. I also can walk to the Main MD Anderson clinic which I like. the rooms have been remodeled and the new AC unit works very good and is quiet.

Accomodations overall were fine and the gal who did our weekly room cleaning did an excellent job. There were some noisy tenants with barking dogs several occasions and quite a bit of pounding and scraping upstairs at times. The breakfast room is very minimal with oatmeal, mini muffins and hot beverages.Very convenient to the medical district. Biggest complaint was lack of desk service. Often people would be waiting with no one there. We decided to do laundry early to get a head start in going to the hospital and needed quarters. No one there when desk opened at7, and the 6th time an hour and a half later, they got the cash drawer ready to use to get change. Then the dryer didnt dry and switched machines and got the clothes to dry so we could leave and lost 2 hours trying to do laundry. Only 1 of 3 dryers worked right. Also figured out that you shouldnt keep your key card next to your room key because it might cause problems with the key. They could also use more monitoring outside for trash around the parking lot.

The location for both the Hospital & Rehabilitation were excellent.
The facilities were in accordance with ehat I expected. The shuttle van was great and the chauffeurs were ery professional and polite.
The entire staff made us feel welcome and at home. I know I forgot some staff members names but all of them were professional and polite.

Things are not kept up to even a 2 star standard. They put lipstick on the pig, but it doesn't make it smell any better. The elevator broke down during stay and for two days we had to walk up/down 3 flights of stairs.
