Description: Brasserie 19, located in Houston’s 77019 neighborhood, offers a modern amalgamation of French brasserie fare and well-known American influences. The chef-driven menu utilizes the freshest seasonal ingredients in thoughtfully prepared dishes. Brasserie 19 boasts an expansive, carefully developed wine list dedicated to pricing just above retail – a philosophy pioneered by owners Charles Clark and Grant Cooper upon opening their first restaurant, Ibiza Food & Wine Bar. Brasserie 19's sophisticated yet unpretentious interiors are bathed in cool greys and whites, with antiqued wood and white marble used throughout. Grey leather banquettes and comfortable chairs are paired with white linen and butcher paper-covered tables create a casually elegant setting for lunch, dinner or Sunday brunch. Brasserie 19 will serve lunch and dinner 7 days a week, as well as brunch on Sundays.

Very popular food and drink location just outside downtown. Great food, and a very lively bar scene in the late evenings. Wonderful outside patio tables when the Houston weather cooperates!

white table cloths, white cabinets, got the steak frites - had a nice butter sauce. bread was quite memorable. wish i had room for dessert. the scene at B19 might be worthwhile, at least for the experience... there is outdoor dining as well. great right about now in houston. I went for a biz lunch and was a bit underwhelmed by the multiple server approach. I prefer one server during the meal, but i seemed to recall getting random servers, a bit off putting.

As a frequent diner at Brasserie 19, I can assue you of a very good bistro meal with comparable service and an excellent wine list. MY first time for lunch did not disappoint me or my guests. Our salmon and tuna were well prepared and presented. Mention also should be made of the excellent bread, hot and chewy, and the butter. Easy to O.D. on both. Noise level can be a problem depending on where you sit; window seats are best.

I had been told good things but this was distinctly average. Ok but slow service, ok half chicken but no better than I (or whole foods!) could cook, and would have got two stars but my gf liked her crab cake (which tasted like banana to me) and her tuna tartare - which did look good. We only had a few dishes as not so hungry but even they were worth no way near $100.
