We were at the Brio for a business event. Not familiar with the area, coming from Louisiana, so used Garmin to find it. Luckily for us, the restaurant across the street handled the Valet Parking as we were late due to traffic.

Our meal was served family style with 6 people per table. The Antipasto, garden salad with oil and vinegar was a nice start, followed by large plates of Mashed Potatoes and Mixed Grilled Vegetables - both well prepared. Then came delicious Lasagna with a separate plate of Grilled Chicken Breast.

The meal was delicious. I'd have to rate the Lasagna as the best I've ever had when dining out. And the Grilled Chicken was also great. Our table asked for seconds on the Grilled Vegetables and the Chicken.

The dinner was followed with a large platter of half Cheesecake, half Tiramisu - both were delicious. Like the other plates, it was quickly emptied.

We will definitely look for Brio as a dining option in the future.

I can't comment on the value of the meal, as ours was part of the business group, so we didn't see the menu or prices.

The restaurant is located in the heart of City Center, an up and coming upscale shopping area just west of Houston. After a very nice lobster bisque and chicken entree, I had one of the worst cups of coffee I have had in a long time. Poor quality, stale, and actually rather weak. On a cold (yes cold) Houston day restaurants should be trying to brew their best warm drinks. Brio needs to try a little harder on their brew--don't order their coffee after your meal!

Location is great, City Center area is very nice. Make sure you get there with some time to find a parking slot, it's really tough, and the place does not offer valet parking (!!). Very lively environment, though not noisy due to the fact that space are really wide and open. Service is fast and neat. Food is ok, will not excell but no problems. Nice to go with friends or for couple looking relaxed environment.

Great choices for happy hour! The Martini's are great as well as their gluten free options. If it is a nice day, they have great outdoor seating.

We went to Brio prior to a show at The Country Playhouse. We were greeted pleasantly at the front desk and escorted to our seat. We took advantage of the special theatre menu which was a tremendous value. Our waiter was only average. He was not as friendly or attentive as we would have liked. The food was very good. The hot bread had a crunchy crust. My chopped salad was very good. My chicken parmesean was outstanding. The chicken was well seasoned an the breading was hot and crunchy. My wife's entree salad was filled with fresh vegetables. The dessert parfait was a great way to end our meal. The decor is beautiful and ambiance very nice. We only wished we had a better server.
