Had dinner on Thursday night with my wife and another couple who live way out in the country and do not often get to Houston; they wanted fresh seafood. We had a reservation because they are always busy. The other couple got there before we did and the bar was packed, so the Hostess seated them at our reserved table. They order a bottle Frei Brothers wine - Per them wine selection was good.
The food was perfectly prepared and our service was excellent throughout the meal. We had one order of the Crab and Corn Chowder (Smoked Bacon, Potatoes and Sweet Corn) two orders of Jumbo Lump Crab Cake (Sautéed Maryland Style with Spicy Chive Remoulade) almost as good as you in in Maryland.
The other couple both order the PACIFIC SWORDFISH (Broiled with Fresh Lump Crab, Avocado, Cilantro and Red Chile*) My wife and I order the FLORIDA GROUPER (Sautéed Crisp with Lemon, Garlic and Scallions) with a side order of Crab Fried Rice with Scallions & Mushrooms. The food is one of the best in Houston.
The service was good and the ambiance was very energetic
I recommend any of their restaurants and especially their crab cakes."
The waiter calls the Valet service and your car is waiting for you.
