there is always something going on. There is a small pound/lake, kayak rental, water splash pad, and a lot of bunches to seat and enjoy the day.

discovery green park is located in the center of downtown houston and sorounded by mini lakes and tall buildings.
there are plenty of benches on the walkways for people to sit and a fast food cafe to enjoy refreshment.
the parking could be a problem and expenssive. there is an areas for larhe group to have a family gathering and picnics. public restrooms are ok and clean.

I always like to check out their website for current events. There is always something going on in these place. Great for families, there is a nice playground for all year round, a big ice skating ring in the winter and the water splash pad for the summer.

There is always something happening in Discovery Green. I wish they would add some more variety to bring others in, even though there is a good amount of people taking advantage of.
