“Great Way to Spend a Day”
Reviewed October 27, 2012

With the zoo on one end and the Museum of Natural Science on the other, there's something for everyone. Park near the zoo to stop into the Hermann Park Conservancy shop, where you can pick up cute souvenirs and buy tickets for the train, which circles the park. You can also rent peddle boats for the lake. The parking lot fills up fast, so be patient!

We took out Engagement pictures in Hermann Park - the scenery was beautiful and it is a lovely place to walk around.

“Loved so much to do”
Reviewed October 22, 2012

There is so much to do here, lots of walking trails, a water park and play grounds galore. The only downside is parking, it SUCKS! Don't go on a Tuesday if you want to find a parking spot!

“Nice”
Reviewed October 21, 2012

Not great. Not terribly safe. Lots of kids, including kids without any supervision. Come on! Why are parents so lazy about just letting their kids go off terrorizing the populace. And when did I get to be so old that I'm the one yelling at kids to get off my lawn. If you go, hand on to your stuff. The bike patrol isn't much help.

“Do a lot or do little”
Reviewed October 21, 2012

Between the Museum and Hospital District Herman Park and the Zoo is a great experience for everyone. The Park and the Zoo put a lot of quality in a small area. The Zoo is constantly upgrading allows you to get up close and personal without becoming dinner. Picnicing in the park is great. No fee for the Park, while there is one for the zoo.
