Obviously, the beer selection will knock your socks off. The food is fairly typical "pub fare", but still very good. Very crowded (and loud) at 7:30 on a Wed night, but cleared out quickly allowing me and my guests to really enjoy ourselves. Loved our waitress as she seemed to know her beers and make great recommendations. If I visit Houston again, I'm definitely coming back.

We had a fun lunch, sampling four beers from the menu of over 200. It was hard to choose, but we decided to narrow it down by trying local brews. The bratwurst were good accompaniments. We appreciated the fact that the restaurant was open on a Sunday when all of downtown Houston seemed to be shut up tight.

This is the place if you want to enjoy a variety of craft brewed beers. They also have food, wine and spirits, but the draw is the excellent brew selection.

If you are looking for a gourmet dining experience, look somewhere else. Here you will find bar food like nachos, pizza, and some really good pretzels ($7 for 2). There are also some sandwiches and other things.

The ambiance is not upscale, but not seedy either. There are only a couple of tvs that show sports. Music is not too loud so you can talk with your friends while you enjoy a pint of some fine brew. However, it does get to be loud during happy hour. There are approximately 80 beers on tap but you also have the selection of bottled beer that brings the total up to around 200 or more to select from.

Apparently a must if you are in Houston if only to admire the young waitresses. It is a large room with an extremely high ceiling that makes it difficult to hear anyone in your company. The food is extremely reasonable and good. beer pricef.s ok. Glad I went but did not knock my socks off

This is always another place I stop when in town for business. The chicken salad is really tasty, as are the soft pretzels. The choich of available beer could be overwhelming to some, but the staff can guide you to something that fits your taste. Beers can be pricy but quality comes with a price and this is a spot for quality beer.
