Not a bad place to stay if you are looking for a clean place close to Bush Intercontinental Airport. It is reasonable and fine if you are looking for a hotel convenient to the airport for the next morning, but not for a vacation in Houston. You can find much nicer places at reasonable rates closer to downtown. This is an airport hotel.

Staff was friendly and rooms were excellent. Breakfast Bar was amazing. Ladies at Breakfast bar were super friendly. I would love to stay in this hotel closer to our summer months we didn't get to enjoy the patio which looked awesome. Over all I highly recommend this hotel to anyone heading out to Houston.

We stayed at this hotel the night before and after our cruise. Service was fantastic and the shuttle from and to the airport was appreciated

First time to Houston for an ovenight wait for connecting flight. Late arrival, reservation was ready for us. Fast efficient desk manager. Room was much more than we expected, especially for the price. Hotel staff, security, front desk, all very polite and helpful. Great comfortable bed, unique style bathroom, and very quiet. The light breakfast was a treat before heading off early to the airport. Shuttle bus drivers, again very helpful and courteous.

Room Tip: Great for overnight for connecting flights the next day. 10 min from airport, free shuttle to and from hotel. Looked great on the outside, was even better on the inside.

We arrived on New Years Eve. The bus driver and the guy at the reception desk told us only chinese take out and the cafe down the road were open. All the restaurants and bars closed early. On New Years Eve! We got to our room and found a list of all local restaurants and information stating the shuttle would take us and pick us up from any of the restaurants on the list. So, we called TGI Fridays, to confirm they were open. They were, so we went back to the lobby. The guy at the desk seemed confused by our request for the shuttle and that this information concerning a list of restaurants was in the room. He told us we must call before 10:30 to get a ride back.

They gave us a ride to TGI Friday's. We were finished with our meal by 9:50 and promply called the Inn (40 minutes before their deadline). They said they were picking guests up from the airport and would pick us up afterward. By 11:00, and 3 corresponding phone calls with them, they told us they could not pick us up. We had to find our own way back.

Room Tip: Rooms are clean and quiet. If you do not plan on utilizing the shuttle for restaurants or the mall, you should be ok. There is another La Quinta closer to TGI Fridays and the mall. You may want to check that one out instead.
