“we'd stay here again”

This hotel is homey-clean- the staff are friendly, willingly ready to assist with any request -watching them work there is no division of duties and responsibilites- they work together as a team. It was a very pleasant experience staying here for 2 nights.
enjoyed a wonderful interaction with Alexis, a college age staff member, whose interpersonal skills and eye contact made us feel like long time friends. She is an asset to the team and company.

saw family with children, who were too late for breakfast, Alexis offered fruit and muffins for the children. nice touch..

if you're planning to use city transportation, they will shuttle you to a nearby bus stop where you can begin your journey. when you return, with a phone call they will pick you up at the bus stop. it was fun to travel on the bus with the local people and catch glimpses of daily city life.

1 elevator of the 2 elevators was not working- and than for a short while the working elevator was out of service- wished that management called each room or left a phone message indicating elevator out of service. for somebody who can't walk stairs, this is a problem and they should be sure when making reservations that they might need to be on a floor where their medical problems will not hinder their ability to function because of unexpected lack of service.
new situations arise with travel which should make all of us more aware of our needs and surroundings and alert us to take personal responsibility

Room Tip: be aware of your personal needs to insure your well being.

Green Features: if you prefer a homey, friendly atmosphere and not one that is sterile you will enjoy your stay at this hotel. the staff group work well together and individually.

I spent a week in town for training and I brought my family with me and the staff was great to them. They made sure they had everything they need and wanted while I was busy during the days. The kids wanted to go swimming and at that time of year it was not warm enough for their hotel so the manager brought them to one of there other properties that had a indoor pool and allowed them to have a great day. It was the little things that really made it a nice stay for my family, I travel a lot and stay in a good many hotels and there are only a few that truly treat you as well as I find Hyatt does.

Nice, clean suite. Pretty close to airport. Security fenced all around. Limited amenities and bar but service personnel were very nice. It is about 100 yards from the best oyster bar I have ever eaten at - Jimmy G's.

Had problems at first with a dirty room and no linens available but the night clerk was incredibly nice and moved us to another room that was very good. Breakfast was really good also. There were a lot of people staying there and more than one person working would have made things go a little smoother at breakfast, had to wait a while for food to come out.

This hotel provides a great value with close proximity to airport; shuttle service is provided. Room was clean, large, and provided a good night's rest. No restaurant on site but does have small counter area for burgers, etc. Excellent complimentary breakfast provided. Internet access is complimentary. The staff is friendly and courteous. Only negative is that ice machine is on main floor.

Room Tip: Recommend room on higher floor.

We stayed two weeks in early August while moving back to Houston... Good - The room was huge, we had two connecting rooms each with two double beds and L-shaped sleeper sofa; more than enough room for me, wife and three kids. Breakfast could be great, room was quiet. Staff were the best! Always friendly, and happy to help in anyway they could.

Bad - Only one elevator working for the first week, If you did not get breakfast at the right time they would run out of food, plates, and/or silverware. Staff did the best they could to keep up but on busy mornings they did not stand a chance. Room didn't have enough towels and when we asked for more and a few more washcloths they said no more washcloths, this repeated itself everyday for two weeks; weird, what hotel runs out of washcloths? A/C in both rooms struggled to keep up; corridors and elevator were always HOT. It seems the management was being cheap...

Room Tip: I'd select a room on the East side...

Recently was sent over her because the local Hyatt was having a power issue. The first room they offered us had rice and beans spilled at the front door. We went to the desk and requested a second room. This room had a giant roach in the bathroom. My wife and I decided just to leave and get a refund. Funny thing is there general manager Heather has been completely unavailable to us and refuses to call my wife. DO NOT STAY HERE.
