“Good for Shoppers, Waste of Time for Tourists”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 1, 2013

I came to Houston for one day and decided to visit this famous mall. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a waste of time.

Well, probably there are a lot of stores. But as for other entertainment, the mall is not so impressive. Comparing it with Dallas Galleria, Houston looses in decorations and in variety of restaurants. And wifi worked so terrible that I couldn't even check my email. Only Nordstorm provided a decent connection. I like checking online reviews of items while shopping, so I had to use 3G for it.

“Every store known to man!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 31, 2013

Hands down, the largest mall I've ever been to! Wear comfortable shoes and be well rested. The ice skating ring in the heart of the mall was a nice feature. We spent several minutes just watching the skaters.

“Not really for me”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 30, 2013

It's big, it's nice, but when it gets right down to it The Galleria is huge, overpriced mall with a pretty near indoor ice skating rink. I really didn't see any need for someone from out of town to go there, unless they desperately want to go ice skating. Most of the stores are the same stores I've seen in any other mall, the prices are just bigger.

“Excellent Shopping”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 24, 2013

During a recent visit to Houston on business I stopped in with a colleague to do some shopping and really enjoyed our time at the Galleria. They have ALL the boutiques you can think of along with great anchor stores, had lunch at Neiman's cafe, which was excellent, walked over to Tiffany's and into the mall. Indoor ice skating adds to the fun. Michael Kors staff was so helpful and friendly, along with the ladies at Cole Haan, Coach and Ferragamo. Needless to say, I had to expand my luggage and check in my bag, but it was so worth the visit!

“Walk around OTC”

Great shopping and restaraunt venue, very expensive only for the upmarket. All top names are there/ There are bettter shopping places on Houston if looking for reasonably priced goods.
