“Always my favorite place to stop”
Reviewed April 19, 2012

We stopped at Dilorio Farms on the way back from Houston. They had rows and rows and rows of produce. I was so thrilled to see so many selections to choose from since we are doing low carb. I grabbed the plastic bags and went to work! I got broccoli, purple onions, yellow squash, zucchini, baby tomatoes, red bell peppers, green beans and avocados! They also have different melons and strawberries. Hubby grabbed some of those. All of this for about $20. They also have different bags of nuts and dried fruits and jams, jellies and butters too. I LOVE this place!

“Disappointing”
Reviewed March 28, 2012

Always a good place to stop on the way back to Houston. They just don't have the selections that they used to.

“Farm to Market.”

Go during Melon season and you will not be dissapointed. All shape and sizes to choose and what ever is is season you will have a good choice and always fresh. Plus the horse & cattle feed are a good bargain.

“Call about the tour”
Reviewed January 9, 2012

If you call ahead and inquire about a tour, it is worth it. This place is green house after green house. We saw acres of Poinsettas under a roof. Pretty amazing. Fun. Kids would be bored though.

“Great place for fresh fruit and...”
Reviewed September 19, 2010

Great place for fresh fruit and vegetables. Our family especially loves the watermelons and wonderful canned goods (preserves, pickles, dressings). Your visit isn't complete without some Apple or Pumpkin butter or a brisket sandwich. The Hempstead area has been affected by the economic downturn but this attraction is worth the trip.
