My wife, son and I were in Grapevine and came across Napoli's and decided to try it for lunch. Great idea!!!! I shared a pizza with my son and thought it was one of the best pizza's I have had. My wife had there spaghetti and meatballs and loved it. There meatballs were sooooo delicious. We will plan on stopping in again on our next stop in Grapevine.

They brought me warm milk instead of cappuccino and when I said I don't want it, forced me to have one when I politely said I don't want it anymore. The girl at the candy shop was very nice, but the bad cappuccino ruined my mothers day breakfast.

They have good food. The pizza combinations are interesting- my son and I shared a caesar salad pizza. It is very noisy and a little on the pricey side.

Napoli's operates a full-service Italian restaurant immediately adjacent to this. The Confectionary was opened way after the restaurant, after the adjoining space was vacated. You can actually have a meal in either spot when the restaurant is busy.

Napoli's is locally owned and that should be celebrated. However, the gelato choices are sometimes limited, along with a chocolate-heavy selection in the showcase. Prices trend to the more expensive, unfortunately. Meaning it's better to share a cup rather than shell out more money for two servings.

This is the only real gelateria on Main Street (you can get gelato elsewhere but I don't think it is made on-site). It is also a very large space, meaning that it may be more appropriate as flex or meeting space for Napoli's restaurant than for ice cream lovers.

Selection: Average
Price: Moderately high
Atmosphere: Nothing exceptional, although sometimes it can be loud

I was reluctant to go to an Italian restaurant on New Year's Eve. This was a special family night and I didn't think we should try a new restaurant on this special occasion. So it was with trepidation that I went along, since my daughters had made the reservation. We had to wait about 20 minutes for our table and I just knew that was a bad sign. I was all set to have a terrible evening especially when our table was in front of the ice cream bar and people were coming and going. WELL, I was proven wrong--again.
The waiter was a pleasant young man probably 18 and very nice and helpful. The drinks were tasty, the prices reasonable and the Food--SUPERB! I love lasagna and usually order it when in an Italian place. This one was delicious and a large serving. The Caprese salad was equally good and a large portion. Others in the party had Salmon, zita and chicken piccata. All equally tasty. The crowd soon died down and we enjoyed an interactive family dinner with pictures and laughter and ended up staying longer than we planned.
Would I go back? In a heartbeat. In fact, I'm looking forward to it.
