Charming 'old' American town. Nice shops, cafes and resturants. It was all decorated for Halloween during my visit - as an Australian I have never seen so many smiling pumpkins!!! I'll be back early December and can't wait to see the Christmas lights.Well done Grapevine!

Great place for a mom/daughter in-law day trip. Spent the whole morning/afternoon on main street, perusing the shops and scenery. Lots of greatly prices shabby chic stores as well as many regular priced wares as well. Loved the bakery cafe we stopped and had lunch at. Went on a weekday so parking was manageable, so was the crowd. Nothing to complain about. Worth the trip.

The main street in Grapevine is decorated beautiful for the Christmas holiday. It is definitely worth a trip to walk main street and see the decorations. My only complaint is that the shops are extremely overpriced. I purchased Christmas popcorn at World Market in Grapevine for $6.95 and saw it in one of the shops on Main Street for $14.00. Ouch

This is one downtown that is determined to keep its cowtown feel, with modern conveniences. It's a full evening's stroll through a myriad of shops and eateries on both sides of the street-- no chains here!. There's usually something going on in the quaint square around the gazebo. It's like the old west meets the 21st century...sort of. Definitely worth the time to check out.
