Another local favorite - perfect for taking pictures as well. They have updated the park for the kids and concentrate on beautiful plants and park atmosphere. Some great trails to meander as well. They've even found a place to put a compost area - great learning experience for the kids. Another Grapevine gem !

You have to find this little place on purpose, but it's worth it. It is small by comparison to the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens, but it has a bit of a different purpose. It is a retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city and a nice retreat from all the racket. Even though it is located on a main thoroughfare, it seems that all the city noise just melts away while you walk the trails and look and all the plants and flowers.

There is a park adjacent to the gardens where small children can play and families can picnic. There is also a facility that is available for rental if you are a Grapevine resident.

The city is to be commended for providing this oasis of escape from the city. If you are in Grapevine, Check it out!

This place you can hardly call botanical gardens. We took a picnic and were hoping to eat on the grass after walking for an hour or so. This garden is very small. There is a playground in front of the entrance, no bathrooms here. There are no walking trails to walk for an hour. You can cross the entire place in 5 min. There are 3 small ponds with fish. You can buy fish food for 25 cents. We did see a bunch of professional photographers taking pictures. Most people with kids just stayed at the playground.
