“Great stay!!!”
Reviewed January 8, 2014

We stayed at the Great Wolf Lodge for our first time for Christmas. Overall experience was very nice. Our wait to check in was about 15 minutes, but once we got up to the registration line, it was simple. Although, we did have to get back in line to inquire about adding money to our bracelets. Did enjoy not having to carry room keys or money around the lodge.

We stayed in the Grizzly Bear Suite and the room was spacious enough for 6 adults and two little ones; did request 2 roll away beds. I would have to say the biggest disappointment was the water temperature in the water park area. The most time we spent in the water park area over a total of 3 days was about 6 hours. We would like to go back, but maybe when it gets a little warmer.

“Second stay at Great Wolf much better”
Reviewed January 2, 2014

We stayed at Great Wolf Lodge for the 2nd time over Christmas and had so much more fun than the first time around. I'm sure this is what the hotel owners want you to think but ... there were 2 main reasons we had more fun: first, we stayed for 2 nights/3 days instead of 1 and we participated in just about everything at the hotel instead of just the waterpark The waterpark can get old after several hours so we broke-up the time with the Magic Quest game and other things on the "Paw Pass," which I highly recommend - great value and keeps the kids entertained for a very long time. The staff was also super nice and helpful including everyone from the housekeeping staff to the waiters/waitresses in the restaurants to the front desk folks. We got the Kids Kamp room, which I think is very cute but my daughter likes the Wolf Den better. My only complaint is the wait time at the Island Snack place inside the waterpark. I had to stand in-line for 30 minutes one day just to get Dippin Dots and they don't serve anything healthy so if you are a healthy eater, you'll need to sneak in a few pieces of fruit with you. Other than that, we had a great time and are looking forward to going back.

“Better to call it Great Zoo Lodge!”
Reviewed December 25, 2013 via mobile

We had a family Christmas gathering including three separate rooms and from the get go we have been disappointed. In our room, Four queen beds turned out to be four doubles, one rest room for a room that is advertised to supposedly sleep eight, etc. And then the constant stream of loud, largely unsupervised kids banging with wands right outside our room until 11 pm...you get the idea. Water park is nice, parking was a joke, place seems overwhelmed in every area. Last visit to GWL anywhere if I can help it!

“Great for Kids”
Reviewed December 23, 2013

Great for kids but not for the adults. The food in the hotel is over priced and low quality. But the kids have a lot of fun swimming and playing MagicQuest

“Stop letting day guests in!!!”
Reviewed December 20, 2013

They had a choir competition rent the conference center and included day passes for all those people. It was packed worse than Christmas or Spring Break. NOT RIGHT. We were not warned and paid top dollar for our room. Once they left, it was great.
