The line formed outside which usually means a pretty good place to eat. Only had to wait 20 minutes since it was only 2 of us. The menu is extensive and looks very interesting. We didn't go for anything unusual which might have been a mistake. We ordered the French Toast, eggs, ham, sausage, hash browns. Everything was fresh and very tasty. However nothing out of the ordinary. I did see next to us the Eggs Benedict which looked awesome! The pancakes were the size of a 12 inch pizza!!! I would have never been able to finish one. It seems to be VERY popular and its only opened from 7am - 2pm. Might go back one day.

We travel to Grapevine about 8-9 times per year for both work and family fun and this is our go-to breakfast spot. The food is fantastic, the portions are enormous, the prices are good, and the service is super cheerful. We have never had a bad experience and have been over half a dozen times so far. Expect to have a wait, especially on Saturday & Sunday mornings, but the food is well worth the wait!

We visit family in grapevine 3-4 times a year and we almost always make it a point to visit old west. They get people in and out quick service is good and the food is even better!

We visited Oldwest Cafe with our family on a recent visit. They were able to accommodate our group of 6 quickly (15 minutes). The service was great but the food is the real star here. The menu is extensive so making a decision on what to order took a bit of time. They offer many combination plates so you don't have to decide. You can have it all! Well, not quite all but enough variety for sure. I ordered a combo with eggs, hash browns, ham, and french toast. The portions were huge. The food arrived quickly. Everything was delicious! The french toast was amazing. It was dipped in some sort of almond batter. The french toast was crunchy on the outside yet creamy inside. No syrup required. It was delicious! I practically licked the plate.

I love this place! The pancakes are amongst the best I have ever tasted, but they are knocked into the shade by the almond french toast. Heaven on a plate!

Great service, and a bit of a queue on a busy weekend morning just proves that people are prepared to wait for the great food.

Better to go on a weekday if you can!
