Can't make it to San Antonio? Then stop by the Gaylord hotel in Grapevine Texas and go to the facsimile of San Antonio's Riverwalk. That "River" (indoor) will include the Cantina. This restaurant serves up great Mexican cuisine. Tacos, burritos and Fajitas are part of the menu.
On this night, I decided to try the Mexican fusion, a Salmon TexMex. My wife had the "Texas Burrito". Both were delicious and fresh. Dinners run $12-24. Our entrees were about $15.
Maybe the best part of the meal was the pitcher of Sangria ($32). You can choose red or white and the pitcher seems bottomless.
The service was great and the location is beautiful. The restaurant has an outdoor feel to it, but you're actually indoors thanks to the Gaylord's 4 acre atrium. Whether you stay at the hotel or not, Riverwalk Cantina is good for lunch and dinner
