remodel is going to be very nice; it is still a work in progress. should be done shortly. Housekeeping staff met all expectations. Had a quick schedule change and Monique handled the reservation changes accurately and promptly.

This hotel was renovating the lobby and the backdoor was the entrance. My luggage would barely fit through the door, so narrow. Their website did not mention that the place was a mess due to this renovation. Some hotels also discount their prices for the discomfort, but normal full prices were charged. At check-in I was not recognized as a Platinum member with IHG, so no extras. Staff was rude too. The hotel shuttle let us wait a long time after we called them, the lady was not really in the mood to work. Lifted all luggage in the shuttle myself, as there was no initiative to help from her end. Really, this hotel needs more than renovating the lobby, it needs to change its staff and hire people that are a fit for the hospitality business, as these really were not.

Room Tip: Pick a different hotel! There is a Hilton Garden Inn right next door.

First of all, no MENTION of renovation when I booked our room. We booked and PAID for room with up to 14 days parking with FREE shuttle to and from DFW.

Arrived early evening and everything went OK, hotel was torn up for renovation with people entering on the opposite side of the hotel, little to NO parking available. NO vending machines working, not even for water. The only thing was available was hot water and cocoa mix (the 24 hour coffee, no where to be seen).

We had an early flight to DFW so we booked shuttle at 5:30 am. She had us fill out a sheet with our tag number, return date etc. She gave us her card and said when we got back to DFW to give them a call and they would send someone to get us.

The next morning we got to the lobby like 3-4 minutes late and the driver told us he couldn't take us until 6:00 am. Mind you NO ONE else was there waiting to go to the airport, but he said they only leave on the 1/2 hour (again she told us NOTHING about this!) We told him we HAD to make a flight so he finally said he would take us.

When we got back to DFW on December 26th at 11:00 am in the morning, my husband called the hotel and they told him EVERYONE was off for the holidays and we would have to find our OWN way back to the hotel! Just left us stranded at the airport! Again...NOTHING was told to us before we left. It cost us $27.00 in cab fares to get to the hotel and I went in and told them I was not happy and all she would say is talk to the manager. Called the manager, of course she didn't answer the phone so I left a message and got NO REPLY. Stay away from this place!!! Customer service sucks and they will leave you stranded at the airport! Terrible customer service!

Room Tip: stay away from here! don't care about their customers being STRANDED at the airport!

We would like to apologize that your stay and our communications with you were not up to level of service we strive to deliver to all of our guests. We attempt to ensure that we relay all information to our guests by publishing the renovation information on our hotel website for our guests to see when making reservations, providing signage at the front desk with shuttle hours and departure times, along with locations of our temporary breakfast room offering 24 hours coffee service. I am very disappointed to learn that this information was also not reiterated to you at check in nor did you receive a return call from the Manager that you mentioned you left a message for. Our Managers are typically very quick in responding to the needs of our guests. We pride ourselves on the highest level of customer service and we apologize that we did not deliver this to you. We will address this with our staff to ensure we consistently deliver quality service and satisfaction to our guests. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience.

We were stranded in Dallas due to a missed flight and the folks here really came through big. It was late at night and we'd had our share of angry, rude, dismissive airline type folks. Nelson was working the front desk and got us hooked up with a room and a shuttle ride in a very short period of time. Clarissa was the nicest, friendliest, and caring shuttle driver that I've ever encountered. The room was very clean and the facility as a whole seemed very well cared for. An extra shout out for Flip's restaurant that was still open at midnight. Very good pub grub. Thanks again Nelson, Clarissa, and the fine folks at HIE Grapevine for helping us in a pinch.

Room Tip: We had a king room with a sofa sleeper. Make sure you don't lose the coin toss for the sofa sle...

The hotel was under renovation while I was there. Plenty of restaurants nearby, Several within walking distance. The hotel is close to DFW airport and it had a shuttle that would take you to the Historic District nearby. The Historic District had a Main Street with numerous shops, interesting museums and several good restaurants and bars. The hotel had a decent fitness room with free weights, treadmill, elliptical machine, pool. average rooms with typical H.I. beds, linens a couch and fridge. The location was the plus, not senic but, convenient for our visit.

Ended up here because of flight problems at DFW. Nice and helpful staff. Reception didn't have right name on reservation but it apparently was a Booking.com problem. Shuttle available for nearby restaurants was a nice touch given the ice covering everything. Very quiet. Clean.

I had an overnight between flights, so chose this hotel so I could have a look around. The hotel is ok, and near a few restaurants. The staff are very friendly, and the hotel facilities are what you pay for relative to the other more expensive options near the airport. Be sure to arrange the shuttle bus to pick you up.
