It is a very neat place. Took my grandson and let him pick what he wanted for his birthday. The store has a lot but many of the items are pricy.

This is a small attraction that will only take 2-3 hours to get through. I would recommend going when it first opens on a weekday and eating lunch somewhere else when done. We went into the mall and ate at rainforest cafe. My 5 yr old daughter had a great time despite the 6 or so school trips there. Got crowded after the first hour so she didn't get to go on the car ride before we left. Attractions were entertaining and you don't need to LOVE Legos to go. The 4D movie was worth seeing.

Hi and thank you for visiting our attraction and taking time to write a review about your experience. We do get very busy in the mornings during the Spring time due to school groups, but are continuing to try to improve the guest experience by managing the capacity in the attraction at certain times.

We are glad to hear you enjoyed your visit and hope to see you again very soon!

This is not worth going to unless your children are over 40' or under 60'. Spent 90$ to bring 3 children under 40' and 3 children over 60'. They could not do half the activities/rides. Indoor fun spot at Mc Donalds would be better money spent.

I think everyone is going to have a different experience here depending on what your child(ren) enjoy. We are Lego fans but we ended up skipping a lot that this place had to offer. Our visit was much shorter than we had planned for as a result.

As others have noted there is no re-entry once you go in, and once you go in the gift shop you can't go back into the attractions so we planned accordingly. The cafe gets poor reviews (but they do birthday parties in a private room). We ate at Chili's in the food court. My husband spotted a sign that said if you bring your food court receipt with you then you save money on the admission price at LegoLand so we saved the cost of one child's ticket. This was one penny cheaper than buying our tickets online (which would have locked us into a reservation time). We were there during the week so school was in session locally and we had no problems getting right in.

We did the Factory Tour and my daughter had fun with that, it's a quick way to get you in the door. Then we skipped the first ride that was offered to us. We also skipped all 3 movies. The Princess Castle was a huge disappointment. I thought there would be a building thing or something but no. It's just a place for 1 kid at a time to sing along to a song. Boring. We really enjoyed Mini-land or whatever it is called and my daughter did the driving ride a couple of times. There is a giant climbing space that some kids seemed to have a lot of fun with. My kid went in and out pretty fast. It's not really "Lego".

Lego is currently rolling out at least 12 new Discovery Centers and one will be opening near us in about a month. I do think we will visit it, but it won't be something we will go back to over and over again.

My 8 year old says that the ride she went on was her favorite part. The gift shop was "confusing" somehow.

We actually based a lot of our vacation around going to this attraction. Our final destination was closer to Austin, but because we wanted to visit this Legoland attraction we flew into DFW instead, and drove to the Austin area the next day. It's okay we did it, but I don't think we'd do it a second time. The Grapevine Mills Mall is HUGE (which is where this attraction is located) so you could also go to the aquarium, go to the movies, go to Rainforest Cafe, or just go shopping. Lots to do here.

Hello and thank you for taking the time to write such a thorough review about our Center. We really appreciate any positive or negative feedback, as it helps us manage our guests experience better to hopefully give all of our visitors the most positive experience possible.

We are glad you were able to take advantage of the Food Court special offer! We understand you did not have a good experience with our Princess Palace area, and will take your comments into consideration when improving our attraction.

We are glad to hear you will be near one of our new Centers. We work hard to give our guests, specifically our Annual Pass Holders, new reasons to return to our attraction and will take your comments about returning very seriously.
Do you have any feedback on what might make you return in the future?

Again, thank you for taking the time to write a review on our attraction and hope to see you again soon.

We first visited in April 2011, visited again in April 2012. We took one year off and this place has gone downhill. You used to be able to take a break and come back, and now there is no reentry. You can't even go into the gift shop and return to the discovery center. The food inside is ridiculously expensive and not very good. The ONLY area of the facility that is not rigidly supervised regarding height restrictions is the toddler area, so I spent a good deal of time policing field trip kids who were running over and shoving my two-year-old. It's just not as nice of a place to visit as it used to be.

Hello and thank you for taking the time to write a review about our attraction.

We are sorry to hear you did not have as good of an experience as you did the first time you visited us. We did begin a new no re-entry policy since you visited us last. This policy is purely for the health and safety of our guests. We are able to manage our capacity effectively if we do not allow re-entry in to the attraction, making it a safer environment for our guests.

Again, we are sorry to hear that our attraction did not meet your expectations, but want to thank you writing a review, as it helps us make the proper and necessary changes to help improve our guests experiences.

We do hope to see again soon in order to improve your guest experience.
