The lady at the registration desk kept busy, but was not too friendly. She was on the phone with what seemed like registration business when I arrived, but didn't acknowledge me until after the end of the phone call (at least 10 minutes later). The bad: The a/c blows right across the work desk! Stains in the work chair. Bath tub fills up with a few inches of water during a shower. Toilet seat was loose. Tub leaks excessive water on floor when taking a shower. The wifi internet is extremely slow (only 500kbits/sec speed). Breakfast was okay, but the lady started shutting down the breakfast at least 5 minutes. When confront, she was very nice and helpful, though. This property appears to be very dated. Small sink counter top in restroom, which is not customary in the Hamptons that I have stayed in. For the amount of money that Hampton charges, the issues I noted are totally unacceptable.

Room Tip: This hotel does not have suite-type rooms. Working at the work desk will disturb a sleeping partner...

My son and I went to Dallas for a football game and stayed at this Hampton Inn. The staff was very friendly. Check in was very quick. Our room was very nice and there was not really any issues with noise from the hallway or other rooms. Our AC worked very well which was nice on those over 100 degree days. We would stay there again.

Stayed one night at this Hilton property. I was in North Arlington/Grand Prairie and just needed a central location for this area of DFW.

First, hotel location was excellent. If you are needing to go to Cowboys Stadium, Rangers Ballpark, or Six Flags - then this is THE place for convenience! Even better, the price. Think I paid $89 for the night, which considering the area, it was pretty good. However, this is an older property - much older. You can definitely tell that management has given this old gal a May Kay makeover, when it really needed a Heidi Montag facelift. Don't get me wrong, place is still 'ok'. Fresh coat of paint/wall paper, new furnishings, linens, etc. However, it's obvious that all of these things are purely cosmetic. Various areas in the room, especially in the bathroom, show age (i.e. fixtures). Some of the repairs or updates to the room were really noticeable. However, that didn't bother me so much as overall; they did appear to be clean and tidy.

With all that said, the staff was welcoming and friendly, and helpful with directions in the area. Several restaurants not too far away and within a few minutes’ drive. Didn't check out the "gym", and not sure if they even have a swimming pool or not. Internet service didn't work on my laptop, but my phone connected right away - so, can't fault the hotel for that. Breakfast was really great! Eggs appeared to be fresh, not instant. Fruit and other continental items also appeared to be fresh and new, not like they've been stored for months prior to being served to guests. Beds are comfy with clean linens - no stains that I noticed!

All-in-all, this was a solid "good/average" hotel for the price. I'll give it 3 out of 5 due to the age, and minor issues with the visually aesthetic (lack of) room quality; but would definitely stay here again and recommend.

This is the experience I had with the Hampton Inn Arlington at Six Flags.

01. When we got there, the elevators did not work. We waited over 5 minutes and had to walk up the stairs 4 stories to our rooms. And back down.
02. The bathroom did not have a strike plate on the door to secure the door. The door swung freely without the ability to even close.
03. The air conditioner unit did not work. We did not need the unit due to the cold weather, but would of enjoyed having it on for the noise. I looked for a thermostat and there was none. This unit was controlled at the unit itself.
04. Half the television channels were blurry due to a malfunction with the television or cable that runs to the television.
05. The soda vending machine did not work. It had an "Out of Order" sign attached to it.
06. The bed was hard. For the first time at a hotel, I experienced a sore back from the bed. The sheets were fluffy as advertised, but the mattress needed to be replaced.
07. The hotel looked and smelled run down.
08. The parking lot did not hold the amount of guest required at full capacity. I ended up parking at the IHOP next door. Did not feel safe having my car far from the hotel.

Out of the many Hilton brand hotels I have been to, this is the worst I have ever stayed at. I would not recommend this if you are staying at a Hilton brand hotel. There are nicer Hilton brand hotels close by and nicer than this Hampton Inn.

Hotel as stated below needs updating. However you can not ask for better employee service. Shuttle service is great to both stadiums, shopping and resturants. Drivers will even go pick up an to go dinner for you or your group. Breakfast was just ok however the waffles can be made fresh and you can even add your own fresh fruit as in blueberries however you have to go to the local super market and buy. No refrig or micro in your room. Micro and hot coffee available 24 hours. Snacks served late afternoon-cookies. Fresh fruit is out in the business center. Walmart Super center right across from the new cowboy stadium. Good buys on Cowboy stuff if you a cowboy fan. Also good cheap selection of warm weather clothes for kids and adults. IHOP is right next door in case you want a real seat down breakfast. Good IHOP. Bad side is only 3 machines in the so called fitness room. The front desk indicated trying to get contract with local gym but so far none. No Movies are available at this hotel. Beds were great - as always with the Hampton. Pool not available even though the site said open. Small pool and would have walked outside to front of the hotel. Pool right beside the perimeter road- 360-watson. All in all I would probably stay here again if in town for business just for a couple of days but not for 1 week.

This hotel was the same as most other Hampton Inn's I have stayed at. The hotel is a little older, but is in good condition. The room and bedding were comfortable and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast area was very clean and there was a large selection, including waffles.
This hotel is about 10 minutes from the airport and is in a convenient location to restaurants.
The fitness center was very small with only 3 cardio machines.
All-in-all, the room was a good value for the price.
