“Fun for kids”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 13, 2013

Water is currently low and some areas had rocks which were hard on the feet. But the kids enjoyed playing in the water. Overall very clean. Kids also enjoyed the splash pad

“Great Idea for Granbury”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 12, 2013

This is a fun little beach where children and adults can play. With the water down in the lake, it is a littler small.

People were having a lot of fun over the 4th, even with low water.

“Granbury hit a home run with this one”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 21, 2013

Granbury hit a home run with this beach. Although the lake is down (7 feet), the beach is still accessible and enjoyable. Enjoy a picnic under a covered area, or lay out, close your eyes and imagine yourself elsewhere ..

“Exceptional Beach”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 20, 2013

This is an exceptional beach for any lake anywhere! The sand was brought in from the Gulf Coast and is manicured by the city on a regular basis. The thatch covered pavilions with picnic tables are very nice and can be reserved. It has a very nice water playground for the kids. The bathrooms are nice and kept very clean. Anyone who doesn't like this beach area is just nit picky! You're gonna love it!!

“Just Hanging Out”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 4, 2013

Growing up in Granbury, our City Beach has certainly gotten better with age! A great place to take your kids for the day and just enjoy the sun. The new "grass-huts" are awesome!! But do not take glass containers, as it is not allowed. The public restrooms are clean and well kept!
