“Bad Dinner”
Reviewed September 26, 2012

There was a hair in my soup. The dining room was dark and musty smelling. Have no idea why anyone would eat there.

“A must if in the area”
Reviewed August 13, 2012

Great food, nice people, good atmosphere. All at a good price. Wine list brilliant. Steaks were hot off the cow and the deserts were great.

“Nice-but not what it claims to be”
Reviewed June 15, 2012

I recently attended a wedding dinner and reception at the Wildcatter. Very nice property with scenic/panoramic views. Dinner/drink service was a disaster. Ordered a drink from same waiter 3 times in 30 minutes. Finally went to bar and just paid for one. Dinner is served. Well for some. Many were finished before the others were even served. Not enough people and too many youngsters who would think nothing of checking their texts before doing their jobs. Not trained on which side you serve or remove from. Ribs were very tasty with an authentic TX ranch BBQ sauce. Nice kick to it. Desert was called bread pudding.??? Eaten it all over the world and never had it crunchy before. Normally it is soaked and soft. This was like stale bread was added later. Very chewy. Good band there for dancing. Only problem-no dance floor. Just brushed concrete. Not exactly the best surface for waltzing and 3 stepping. Overall a nice place. But they need to up the service a bunch if they want to act like a 5 star destination. Hope they do.

“Good food good service good atmosphere good wine list”
Reviewed May 19, 2012

We have been going to and entertaining at the Wildcatter for years and have always been pleased with the friendly waitstaff and texas ranch atmosphere, Bob the cook is always friendly and quite knowlegeable about their superb winelist, their steaks as well as their other options of dishes have never been a disapointment. I would highly reccomend it!
