I actually loved the place and the food! had a great meal and an ice cold beer. At the end the waiter over chraged me by 11 dollars and I didnt notice til I was twenty minutes down the road. I called and asked for the owner and she rectified the problem without any hassles. (thats what a good bussiness owner should have done) thanks

I have to agree with some previous posters - the Loco Coyote Grill is out of the way and off the beaten path. Take Highway 67 toward Stephenville, and turn right onto County Road 1004. The Loco Coyote Grill will be about a half mile out on the left. You can't miss it, since there's not much else out there. After several dozen trips to Glen Rose, this was our first time to try the Loco Coyote Grill, and we will DEFINITELY be going back. The steaks, ribs, burgers, onion rings, and brownie sundaes are all top notch. Servings are ENORMOUS. By enormous, I mean...enough to feed three people. The indoor dining area is small, with picnic style tables and sawdust on the floor. Seating is first come, first serve. The outdoor dining area is amply sized, weather permitting. Be aware that they do not have high chairs for your little ones, and the restroom is in an "outhouse" type of facility. Plan carefully if you go in the rain, in other words! The food, decor and atmosphere are nothing short of the TRUE Texas dining experience. The Loco Coyote Grill is now on our list of favorite places to eat in Glen Rose.

The burger was great. Juicy, hot, huge. The service? Not so good.
I walked in to an unfriendly staff and waited over an hour to receive the food. No gesture to take some money off the ticket for the wait.
Great food but not worth the cruddy service.
