My group was made up 6 adults and 4 kids , I'm not sure who had more fun the adults or kids. The terrain is uneven and the moss covered rocks in the riverbed are slippery so wear appropriate shoes. Since there has been minimal rain the tracks were easy to see and were very impressive. We went in the afternoon and took a picnic lunch and drinks, there are shady spots and picnic tables. Park is well kept and clean. The day was very enjoyable.

Got to park about noon, it was so hot, we had the picnic lunch we brought and left. We went back about 7pm that same evening, had the best time ever exploring the river bed. It was so dry from lack of rain, we could walk through the main track site and get great view of the dinosaur tracks. it was unbeleivable! We went by the blue hole, but did not get in the water. There were many 3 toed dinosaur track here too.

I was so excited to get to go see real, actual fossilized dinosaur tracks "in the wild." However, it is a rugged terrain and you need to be prepared with good hiking shoes and either a sturdy hand or a steady walking stick!

There was even a paleontologist there who was doing castings of some of the footprints and an indent he said he believed to be a tail-swish.

Yep, I loved it!

You can actually swim in the river right there also. Which is a plus under the blaring Texas sun!

Stayed in our travel trailer. Great staff, sites were great and well groomed. Space was a bit tight backing in but once in plenty of room to spread out. Only complaint would be no a/c in shower or bathroom...
