“Great food but NO SWEET TEA? How is that possible?”
Reviewed December 12, 2012

The food was great. Served hot and plentiful. It was just very disappointing that a southern type restaurant would not offer sweet tea. Heck, even McDonald's offers it. My husband did say the coconut meringue pie was excellent.

“Great Home Cooking”
Reviewed November 5, 2012

Informal atmosphere, excellent food, great service. You get more than enough to eat for a not so large price. Lots of comfort foods like grandma used to make.

“Casual comforting food”
Reviewed October 29, 2012

Visited here on a recommendation from a store assistant at a nearby outlet mall. I arrived one weekday lunch and it was fairly quiet, so i was seated and served immediately.
I loved the casual nature of no menu, you literally just order the style of fried chicken you like. After ordering chicken tenders and a water, a salad appeared within minutes. This was extremely fresh and crisp with a lovely dressing.
Shortly after a server appeared carrying a massive tray laden with food. As there was only me and I had just ordered chicken tenders, i ignored her as it definitely couldn't be my food.....how wrong was I !!?? I didn't realise that there were unlimited sides with the chicken! There was mash, creamed corn, greens, beans, gravy and biscuits. All of which were delicious but far too much food !
I'll definitely go back as the fried chicken was delicious and the sides were amazing. For $11.98 it was very good value and great fun.

“Great Southern Cooking!”
Reviewed September 25, 2012 via mobile

Wow! Here on business travel and my relatives who live in the area decided to take me here. What a great restaurant with great Southern, home-style cooking. You get your choice of meat (fried chicken, ribs, roasted chicken, pot roast, chicken fingers and some I'm forgetting) and then all the sides are bottomless served family style. Everyone has that southern hospitality and is super nice. I liked it so well I went back the next night by myself! Totally recommend it to anyone! Loved it!
