Yes, this is Texas, not NY.
Still, with all the hype, they should be slightly better pizza.
In short, cheese, crust and sauce are good (slightly above average), but not outstanding, plus, like many local pizza places, inconsistent on ingredient amounts/proportions and cooking temp.
For a better NY style slice, try Luigi's in Frisco -#1 (if you don't mind the drive), or Siciliano's in Garland #2 (very close to Salis), or Eddy's in Plano --#3.
