“Best kept secret...”
Reviewed June 12, 2013

We were so happy to find out that we would be able to get the same cuts of meats and hard to find authentic Mexican items as we do at home. Makes our cookouts beachside the best. It is true locals will pass this place up.. The people visiting this place know what they are going for.

“Authentic”
Reviewed March 6, 2013

You would swear you were in Mexico the moment you walk into this place. Actually you can tell you're getting close when you start smelling the great aromas from the kitchen. Real authentic Mexican short order food here (delicious) and they even have a neat little grocery store with lots of hard to get spices, and other south of the border condiments. If you want to get away from the ordinary stop here and treat yourself to some really good hot and drippy Tex-Mex. Don't worry locals you won't find any tourists here.

“A Hidden Treasure of Authenticity”
Reviewed December 7, 2012

I first started dining here 5 years ago on a referel for Authentic "South of The border" cuisine. I had know idea that I would find the best "whole in the wall-hidden in plain view" Mexican Resturant within 50 miles. The menu is huge and has a variety of Authentic dishes from Nornthern Mexcio to Equador. I highly reccomend theri barbacoa tacos in the morning. and the green chile Enchiladaqs at night. Fresh fruit juice drinks are excellent This restuarant is attached to a corner store that sell imported Mexican groceries and has a small meat market as well. Great for your group after work lunch or for a date. The wait staff are prompt in everything, but you will have to wait to get your check. Apparently it is rude to bring the check unless it is requested! If you have not experienced Mercadito, you need to.
