My sister and 2 best friends spent the weekend in Galveston at the Coppersmith Inn. We reserved the carriage house because it would accommodate all four of us. It was the weekend of the Tour of the Homes and because all rooms of the house were reserved...Ellen said that she would not be able to feed us breakfast because there wasn't enough room around her dining room table for our two extra people. I think that hotels and B&B's should do everything they can to serve their guests. There was a nice garden table by the carriage house that seated four and it would have been nice to be offered breakfast in the garden if you can't be seated in the dining room. It would have been lovely and appreciated. We loved the carriage house because it was very large, had a huge flat screen TV, a big selection of DVD's which we took advantage of the two nights we were there. The hospitality room wasn't kept stocked very well, but we had brought our own snacks and drinks so wasn't a problem for us. We will definitely reserve this same room when we return to Galveston for another visit. Ellen was very nice, efficient and her two dogs were very friendly and greeted us each time we arrived back to the house.
