“Best Kept Secret in Galveston”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 22, 2013

LOVED this place. Ate breakfast one day- bought 2 big breakfasts and was enough food for my husband and I and our 5 & 6 year olds. Fabulous pancakes!
We went back 2 days later about 10:45. Ordered some breakfasts and lunch. BLT was good. Would have loved to go for diner to check it out. I'm sure it would be great as well. Highly recommend it!!

“Checked out the bakery and breakfast”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 18, 2013

Went by to check out the fresh baked goods and discovered they offer a breakfast menu..had the usual items and some special items - quiches, eggs benedict, pancakes, etc. They offer specialty Belgian waffles but only on Saturday and Sunday. I went with the grilled polenta and sausage with maple syrup. My first time to try and it was very good, hot and fresh. The other items being served looked appealing and the service was great.

“Cute place, great food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 17, 2013 via mobile

We came to this little bakery/cafe at the recommendation of my boyfriends coworkers and several others. I thoroughly enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and people watching. Definitely a must do especially since it is off the beaten path. Great for lunch and pastries.

“Nice! Not perfect.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 16, 2013

I love to find new, more local places to eat. Found this on TripAdvisor with excellent reviews. So, we decided to try it for breakfast. The food was outstanding! Bread pudding French toast - wow! I had crab cakes with poached eggs. The crab cakes could have been a little crispier to stand up to the egg and hollandaise sauce, but the tast was great. Service was very slow, and they were not busy at the time (we ate a late breakfast at about 10am). We had to get the servers attention every time we needed something - including our toast that should have come with our meals. Although everyone was friendly and helpful. Overall, the food was great and the place was fun. Maybe it was just an off day with the service.
