“Super Museum”

This museum is great. The depot has original furnishings. There are many trains to walk through outside. Also a small train layout. Have been here twice. highly recommended

“Nice”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 15, 2014 via mobile

Not much to see right now, the museum still recovering from last major hurricane and it's received a grant to refurbish more trains. They also have a small model train museum, but it's still growing. Price of admission $8.00 plus a lack luster train ride $4.00.

This was so interesting. So much damage from hurricane Ike, but wow, they are doing a fantastic job of cleaning everything up and they have lots of interactive exhibits.

“Not what I was expecting”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 3, 2014

Tickets were a little overpriced for what you get to see. Most of the train cars are locked up and all you can see is what you see through the window. Extra cost for a train ride. They have a whole toy train track set up when you press a button it starts and then the lights go off in the room and the whole train set and town lights up. Just me and my husband went.. I am sure we would have enjoyed it more if my son were with us.
