“ol' South Trains”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 28, 2012

The variety of trains, cars and memorability that is available to view is overwhelming. You must take your time to fully explore all aspects of this southern treasure. The old station is rich in architecture and each area has a story to tell. The adjacent buildings are chalked full of dishes to posters to model trains. The coaches are well preserved and the engines are just a wonder. For you train fans put this one on your must see list.

“Sad Trains”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 25, 2012

No tours. Almost no info about the trains and cars. Everything was run down and in terrible shape. I felt bad for the trains. I don't like museums that make me sad.

“A well kept secret- at least to me”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 21, 2012

Only $6 admission for adults. Every train buff should see this. They also have accommodations in some rail cars for entertaining-would be great for a kid's party

“Great Railroad Museum”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 6, 2012

We loved this museum. It was so educational to actually go through some of the old rail cars. The statues in the museum itself were fun and there were old old phones that you could pick up and get a piece of history. I have to admit, I didn't think it would be so much fun and learn so much.
