My husband and I found ourselves in Galveston during the week so we decided to give grotto a try. We have not eaten at any other locales but like to try the new places in Galveston. We had the calamari, which was cooked excellently. I had a chicken and pasta with feta cheese. My husband had the pizza with sausage, etc. Both were good, but perhaps not so good if there was a long wait. We were there early so it was light outside. You will either find the pool action with waterside interesting or distracting. Service was friendly and efficient. It was good, but there are others around that are just as good.
