“Poor service and bland food”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 6, 2013 via mobile

Stopped here for lunch on our way home after three days in Galveston. The waiter was bland just like the food. We ordered pasta dishes which had way too much sauce and no flavor. I'm thinking we should have ordered the pizza which has good reviews.

“Reasonable Priced Decent Food”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 26, 2013

We looked for a quick place to eat at the beginning of our overnight trip. Gino's fit the bill well. It's very casual, great for families and the food is fine.

We ordered cheese pizza, a couple sandwiches and two pasta dishes for a family of seven. The sandwiches are huge and can be shared. The bread had a nice crust and good flavor. The red sauce was tangy on all of the dishes. The pasta's texture and firmness worked.

Overall, the pizza was the best, but this is a safe, cost effective and relaxed option for any small or large group.

“Yum-O”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 22, 2013 via mobile

Gino's has become a regular stop in our trips to Galveston. The pizza is awesome! It's a small place, and the service can be slower if they are packed, but with the wait.

“Worst Pizza Ever.”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 24, 2013

I've had pizza from NYC to Chicago, LA and San Fran... tried all the chains and this place has to be the worst ever experienced. That goes for being worse than CiCi's which happens to be acorss the street from here.

“Delicious Handmade Pizza”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 27, 2013

We found good reviews for this restaurant on TA and will agree that the food was quite delicious. We ordered a large pizza and found it to be served with generous amounts of toppings. We ate all we could and took the remaining two pieces home where our ravenous teenage son was more than happy to indulge. The service was attentive and very nice. One bit of atmosphere that could have been annoying to some yet was fodder to our giggles was the endless loop replaying of the same opera tune. I think the management needs to extend their playing list to maybe 2 tunes for a little variety. In any event, we will definitely return if not for the delicious food then maybe to hear if the musical repertoire has been extended. ;)
