My wife and I ate dinner here for the second time, the first was about a year ago. We had a very good experience on each occasion. There is patio seating available that puts you closer to the water but it was August so we chose to stay indoors for the comfort of the AC. Arriving around 6:30PM we were advised of a 20 min. wait for a table so we had a drink and appetizer (peel and eat shrimp) at the bar.
We had a friendly and somewhat funny waiter. Not the best we've had but pretty good. He did lose our parking ticket that he was to have validated but found it before we left (one of the managers had given us a voucher to replace the lost ticket anyway). I had the Stuffed Flounder and it was very good, first time I've had flounder in several years. My wife had the Crab Stuffed Tilapia and it was awesome. It is a bit pricey but it seems like the prices are pretty much in line with what you would pay at most quality seafood restaurants in the Houston/Galveston area.
The restaurant location is along the harbor so there are boats coming and going, making for an interesting view if you have a window location or sit on the patio. The tall ship Elissa is moored right next door.
Would recommend this restaurant and I'm sure we will be back in the future.
